Chicago Abstracts
I was in Chicago recently. It was an unplanned visit, my wife and I had received a call that my son, who works in Chicago, had suffered a brain haemorrhage. Thankfully, he is recovering well. But as I stood in the hospital, my gaze shifted to the views from the windows. The views were a complex mix of shadows, blinds and distant buildings, mixing together to form a series of abstracts. It was at that moment that an idea for a new project was born. I’m currently processing the images, but here is a quick preview of the very first images:
